Sean O'Malley's title reign got off to a positive start Saturday when he avenged his sole career loss against Marlon Vera in the UFC 299 headliner.
After suffering a first-round TKO loss to Vera (21-9-1 MMA, 15-8 UFC) in August 2020 that he never felt was a true defeat, O'Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) wiped the slate clean on the biggest stage possible with a unanimous decision victory to defend his bantamweight title for the first time against Kaseya Center in Miami.
These were some of the biggest reactions to O'Malley's title defense over Vera at UFC 299.
