Perfect all-American tourists.
Olivia Rodrigo and boyfriend Louis Partridge took in the Italian sights and sounds on Aug. 29, stepping out hand-in-hand and looking way better than brutal at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival.
The pair were all smiles as they were photographed in matching black ensembles with the “Vampire” singer wearing a sheer black dress with black floral embellishments, oversized sunglasses, and a bold red lip.
The Enola Holmes actor also sported shades, slicking his dark hair back and wearing a white button-down shirt with a black blazer.
Though they didn’t pose together on the red carpet, the couple attended the screening of Louis’ new miniseries, Disclaimer.
Louis posed with his costar Leila George D’Onofrio at the event. The Alfonso Cuaron show also stars Cate Blanchett, Sasha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Kevin Kline and more.
Olivia and Louis first sparked romance rumors in October 2023 when they were spotted out together in London. Since then, Louis, 21, has supported his lady love when she performed on Saturday Night Live and the Jingle Ball in December.
Olivia, also 21, who has been linked to music producer Adam Faze, DJ Zack Bia, and her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series costar Joshua Bassett, previously opened up about how her romantic life has shaped her music.
“I had such a desire to live and experience things and make mistakes and grow after Sour came out,” she told The New York Times in August 2023 of the aftermath of her debut album’s release. “I kind of felt this pressure to be this girl that I thought everyone expected me to be. And I think because of that pressure, maybe I did things that maybe I shouldn’t have, dated people that maybe I shouldn’t have.”
Similarly, Louis, who previously dated his Pistol costar Sydney Chandler, has shared insight into dating in the spotlight.
“Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye,” he explained to British Vogue in March. “There’s enough going on between two people. You don’t need the voices of thousands of others in your head. I think she’s got it a lot worse than I have. I can be a bit of a normal person. She’s got tons and tons of eyes on her case.”
